High winds, heavy seas and overcast skies kept everyone inside as we cruised the Eastern Caribbean and attended the Cruise Critic Meet and Greet.
We enjoyed a relaxing day cruising the Eastern Caribbean, but the heavy seas continued, requiring extra vigilance when moving around the ship.

Tucked away in the corner of one of the shops are a few shelves with a variety of snacks and other sundries.
MEET AND GREET
Our Cruise Critic Meet and Greet was at 6:15 PM in the Wintergarden on Deck 7. Cruise Critic is a website dedicated to cruising and a virtual meeting place for people to share information about cruising, cruise lines, and other cruise-related topics.

Cruise Director Aaron welcomes the Cruise Critic group along with other senior officers
NOTE: There is an area on Cruise Critic called a Roll Call where people scheduled for the same cruise meet virtually before a cruise to share cruise-specific information and coordinate shore excursions and other activities. One activity is the “Meet and Greet,” where people who have been chatting online for months before the cruise have a chance to meet face to face.
Cruise lines vary in their support for Meet and Greets. Viking provided excellent support for our Meet and Greet. Nine officers attended and engaged with the 50 guests who attended. Viking also offered complimentary beverages and snacks. This was an excellent opportunity to meet our fellow cruisers on the second sea day of our 21-day voyage.

Viking has changed. We did the first world cruise in 2017 and they were not as receptive to cruise crotic
I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was meeting everyone at the door. The Hotel GM was there as well as the CD.
I would love to know how your Viking experience compares to your HAL experiences.
